Mask & Masako
The words Mask and Masako kind of sound alike, don't you think?
Masako started making cloth masks early on in the COVID-19 pandemic. When Masako saw the shortage of the masks for Healthcare workers on TV, her middle school child gathered the medical masks that we had in our house and advised to for us to donate them to health workers. Masako decided to make some cloth masks for her and her family and donated the medical masks that we had in hand.
Putting on a mask not only protects yourself, but protects others. We can minimize the droplets from talking, coughing, or sneezing by covering up with a mask. I want to live in a world where people care about one another and making cloth masks is my way of being the change that I want to see in the world.
I have challenged myself to make masks to help my community, and I challenge you to do your part in keeping our community safe by wearing a mask and practicing social distancing.

◎My insurance work is starting to be very busy since June, so it may take a week or so to make and send you one. At this time, I can only make one per person due to high demand. However, if you love the mask I made and need more, please check back with me. THANK YOU SO MUCH！ Masako
I will try my best to update the available fabrics, but due to shortage of cotton fabrics and elastics, your choice of fabric may not be available.
